Component/s: User Management, Crowd & LDAP integration
Consider a user repository where we have following users:
- Piotr Stefaniak;pstefaniak@atlassian.com
- Przemek Bruski;pbruski@atlassian.com
- Lech Wałęsa;leszek@wp.pl
- Stefan Batory;piecia@o2.pl
In the user picker (for example notification/permission/responsibilities) I can write up "Piotr" "Przemek" "Lech" and the corresponding user appear - cool. However if I don't remember the first name, but I remember the last name (for example I start writing Stefaniak instead of Piotr) - I won't hit any results.
Question is, can we somehow improve the user searcher to search for every separate string found in his Name field?
In the example above, if I would input "Stefan" into the user picker I'd expect the picker to hint me to two entries: Piotr Stefan_iak and Stefan Batory.
Is that possible?
