Bamboo 4.1, Jira 5.0.5
Jira Issues Page Breaks in a Linked Jira Issue Gets Deleted in Jira Or Links to a Non-Existent Issue
In Bamboo 4.1, If i link several Jira issues to a build they can be viewed on the Jira Issues tab see attachment. I have linked issues from Jira with keys JTP-1 JTP-2 and JTP-3
If I click the Add Linked Issue button and type in the issue key JTP-4 (this issue does not exist in Jira) then it adds it to the list just fine and then all the listed Jira issues break and no details display. I would expect that only the line for the invalid Jira issue would not display or show problems displaying the info, not all the lines.
Normally you would know if you type an issue key and click save and it corrupts the list. However I also tested out creating the issue JTP-4 in Jira. The previously nonworking Issues tab in Bamboo worked now once I refreshed the page since the JTP-4 issue now actually exists in Jira. However, imagine over months or years, issues in Jira may accidentally or intentionally get deleted. I deleted jira issue JTP-4 and went back to Bamboo page and the Issues tab was broken again not displaying any of the data. This is the more negative use case since Bamboo build teams may not ever know which issue was deleted in Jira that caused the page to stop displaying the issue information correctly.
