Make it possible to publish artifacts out-and-beyond the bamboo environment, e.g. to a staging server.
Caveat: If you're using remote build agents, this may be impossible for them to perform, and would quickly get quite complex to implement rules to achieve and filter suitable agents.
I'm thinking one of two options:
a/ Additional artifact definition attributes specifying "Publish" and a publish-to destination; after the build-agent completes its task, it pumps the artifact to the server and the server does the copy;
b/ A publish plugin
TBH, this seems like such a standard component of build cycles ... that I can't see why (a) wouldn't be the more appealing option.
