      Issue Summary

Sometimes, after deleting a Custom Domain for Confluence Cloud, the site is no longer accessible from either the original URL or the custom domain URL.

This is reproducible on Data Center: (not applicable)

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Add a custom domain as in: Add a custom domain
      2. Go to admin.atlassian.com. Select your organization if you have more than one.
      3. Select Products > Product URLs.
      4. Select the Custom domains tab.
      5. For the domain you want to deactivate, select More Actions (...) > Deactivate domain.

      Expected Results

The domain will appear with a status of 'Inactive' in the list. Any requests will fall back to the default product URL.

      Actual Results

After deleting the custom domain, the default product URL will be re-direct to the removed custom domain, rendering the site inaccessible.

      Workaround

Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
