Issue Summary
Jira Service Management Customers are unable to access a Confluence space, without a Confluence license when a custom domain is setup.
Steps to Reproduce
- Setup a custom domain for Jira Service Management
- Add a user with an Atlassian account to the site
- Give them only Jira Service Management Customer access, no Confluence license
- Add the user to a Service Management project with the Customer role
- Log into the Portal with the customer account
- Try to access a page in the Confluence space associated with the KB.
Expected Results
The user with the Jira Service Management Customer role should be able to access the Confluence space.
Actual Results
Based on the user access settings they will either be refused access or prompted to request access.
Workaround
- Deactivate the custom domain.
- Grant the Customer account a Confluence license.
