    • Our product teams collect and evaluate feedback from a number of different sources. To learn more about how we use customer feedback in the planning process, check out our new feature policy.

      Description:

Currently, users can request additional Atlassian products to try for free for any products that are not already added to the site that they have the access to. When users make such requests, site admins receive a notification in the Atlassian Directory, allowing them to Get Started or Remind me later via a small pop-up window.

Example: If the site only has Jira, the user should see the option to Try all other Atlassian Cloud products like Confluence, JSM, Jira Product Discovery, Compass

      Current Behavior:

There is no option for admins to deny or delete the request and send a response to the user explaining the reason for the denial.

      Expected Behavior:

Admins should have the option to approve or deny the request and provide the user with a response explaining the reason for their decision.

[AX-556] Option to deny Product requests for the admins

Adding my vote. How is this only an option for Enterprise. I had 3 users create products with a different URL including a premium paid product linked to our Organisation. If I can restrict them from creating pages and spaces, surely I should be able to stop them from creating products.

I'd like to see this taken a little bit farther: admins should be able to disable product requests completely, or at least disable both on-site and email notifications about them, not just deny the requests.

The open source project I admin has a lot of people (i.e., 100 or more per week) who create accounts and then are never active on Jira again. When these non-users create their accounts, they frequently send requests to try products. These requests are essentially being used as a form of spam, and it is extremely irritating for all of our admins.

I'm and admin for an open source project, and not being able to turn this off results in us getting a lot of emails we'd rather not get. This would be very useful!
