Issue Summary
The current error message that users receive when trying to delete an organization, states:
Your organization has products that you need to remove before deleting it. If you've recently removed the products, retry in a minute.
As per this document, the org can be deleted after
- for original billing experience - 14 days [deactivation of the site(s)] +1
- for improved billing experience - 14 days [deactivation of the site(s)] + additional 60 days
'If you've recently removed the products, retry in a minute. ' part has been causing some confusion.
Suggested solutions
- To eliminate this confusion, it's suggested to disable the 'Delete organization' button and improve the error message for better clarity.
- Display site's deletion date on the UI would help clarify when the organization is eligible for deletion, thereby setting the right expectations and reducing confusion.
