Problem Definition
When a user attempts to access an application that they don't have access to and the app access settings require admin approval the user is presented with a message that indicates "Join your team in [application] to..." and has a Join team button.
This sends an email notification to organization administrators that indicates "[Username] has requested to join [Application]."
If the request is rejected, this sends the user a canned message that includes a line of editable text.
Most of the text in this process is not customizable at all, and this can lead to confusion.
Suggested Solution
- Provide the ability to customize the "Join team" message.
- Provide the ability for the user to include details about why they are requesting application access.
- Provide the ability to customize the rejection message to only include the contents of the note the admin adds in the rejection.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
