In audit logs, switching between Basic and ALQL modes clears the query

      Issue Description

      When using Audit logs in Admin Hub, switching between ALQL and Basic modes causes any written query to be lost. Specifically, entering a query in ALQL and then switching to Basic wipes the query entirely. Similarly, if a query is constructed in Basic mode and then switched to ALQL, the tab refreshes and the query is lost.

      Suggested Solution

      Implement query retention between ALQL and Basic modes, similar to how Jira preserves queries when toggling between Basic and JQL.

      Why This Is Important

      Consistent interaction patterns across products in the suite will improve user experience and efficiency, reducing frustration and manual rework.

      Workaround

      Currently, users must manually rewrite any lost queries after switching modes.
