Allow admins to filter Discovered apps by status

      Atlassian recently updated the Discovered apps UI to include both active/suspended and deleted instances, where previously only active/suspended instances were listed. While some customers may have valid use cases for including deleted instances in the Discovered apps list, the inclusion of this data with no way to filter the list only causes confusion and consternation for other customers who primarily use the Discovered apps list to monitor the creation of new Shadow IT instances.

      It also doesn't help that the current UI for Discovered apps doesn't indicate the status of each instance; the only way to identify whether an app has already been deleted appears to be whether the Last active field is populated:

      To support the use cases of all of Atlassian's customers, we should make the following updates to the Discovered apps page:

      • Include visual indicators for the status of each instance in the Discovered apps list (e.g. Active, Suspended, Deleted).
      • Include the ability to filter the Discovered apps list to only include instance(s) matching the selected status(es).
        • Preferably, this filter should default to Active, similar to the Users list.

      Failure to implement these improvements to the Discovered apps page makes it harder for customers to manage their Shadow IT footprint with Atlassian—especially if they have a high volume of deleted instances in their Discovered apps list.
