Summary
In the User Management when creating a new user, customer is unable to create an email address with an " ' " (apostrophe character), For example, test'jira@atlassian.com![]()
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a user with an apostrophe character in the email address column.
Expected Results
The creation of the email address with the apostrophe character is supposed to be successful.
Actual Results
An error is thrown out when the user is attempted to be created.

Workaround
- Create the user email address without the apostrophe character.
- After the creation, go to User Management > Search for the user > Click on the user name > Click on Edit > Change the email address and key in the apostrophe character where it's necessary > Click Save
- The user will receive an email notification and will be able to verify the creation.
