Description
Issue Summary
- An automation rule that moves a page to the same space it currently is, creates a draft that can't be deleted or published.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a new automation rule;
- Add the Page published trigger;
- Add an If User condition User who triggered the event is in the group "abc" and set a group;
- Add the Move page action and set it to move the page to the same space the page was created;
- Add the Change page status action and set "Ready for review";
- Set the Scope to "Single space";
- Set the Scope to any space, for example, "XYZ" space ;
- Save the automation rule;
- Publish the changes;
- Create a page in the "XYZ" space;
Notes
The problem is also noticed in automation rules that do not contain a Move page action. If the page was previously moved before the automation rule changes its status, we can also observe those drafts.
Expected Results
- The page should be moved to the "XYZ" space and get the "Ready for review" page status;
Actual Results
- Even though the page is moved to the "XYZ" space and gets the "Ready for review" page status, the automation creates a new draft of the page in the Page Tree. This draft can't be deleted or published.
Workaround
- Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
