Description
Issue Summary
Automation rule does not set values to a multiple choice field in a team-managed project or discovery project from a multiple choice field from a company managed project. When multiple values are listed they do not get set. If a single value is set, then that comes over.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create an automation rule, in this case used a manual trigger rule.
- Add component Create issue, select discovery project and a issue type 'idea'.
- Copy required fields (summary and Description) from current issue. In this case, select 'Teams' and set smart value of your multiple choice field from service management project.
Expected Results
The smart value in the automation rule copies the multiple choice value from the company managed project to the team managed or discovery project
Actual Results
The smart value in the automation rule does not copy the multiple choice value from the company-managed project to the team managed or discovery project
Workaround
- Use the Copy From option instead of using a smart value to copy a value from the Service Project to the Team-Managed/Discovery Project.
- May also use smart value with regex to inject multiple values How to copy values between multiple choice fields via automation.
