Labels with multibyte characters can not be retrieved on Jira automation

    • Minor

      Issue Summary

Labels with multibyte characters can not be retrieved on Jira automation due to the error Failed to retrieve selections, please refresh the page and try again.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create some labels with multibyte characters (e.g "てすと")
      2. Create a Automation rule with the action that edit Labels field

      Expected Results

      We see no errors.

      Actual Results

We see the error Failed to retrieve selections, please refresh the page and try again. under Label field section.
Note that it is possible to search and select labels.

      Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior, but we can search and select labels with multibyte characters. It means that this is just a frontend issue, and it is expected that actions are executed.
