As a Jira administrator, when creating new rules I would like to have the option to set user custom field to "User who triggered the event"

      Problem

      Currently there is no option for setting a user custom field to "User who triggered the event" on "Edit issue" action.

      Suggestion

      Add this option 'User who triggered the event' to rule configuration.

      Workaround

      User can use Smart values to achieve the same outcome
