Summary
Currently when creating an automation rule with the "Create Variable" action, the text-boxes used to create the variable name and smart value do not allow space characters to be entered as expected.
Steps to Replicate
- Create an automation rule with any trigger
- Create the action "Create Variable"
- Enter text into the "Variable Name" or "Smart value" text-boxes to find you're unable to enter spaces as you'd like.
Expected Behavior
Variables and smart values should allow spaces to be entered, this may be needed for things like referring to custom field values by name rather than id.
Current behavior
Spaces cannot be entered into these text-boxes as expected. Typing out a custom field name, for instance, it does not allow a space to be the last character typed into the box.
Work around
Copying/pasting text with spaces still functions as expected.
You can also type out what you need without spaces, then come back and enter spaces later as it allows spaces to be entered between characters, but not at the front or end of the line.
