Issue Summary
Automation is not triggered by email based comment with a trigger "Comment is the main action"
Steps to Reproduce
- Create an Automation Rule with "Comment is the main action" trigger
- Then post a comment via automation as below:
- Uncheck the option "Check to allow other rule actions to trigger this rule. Only enable this if you need this rule to execute in response to another rule." and save the rule.
- Created a ticket and replied just with text data via email for a comment to be posted.
- Comment processed successfully

- Sent another email with text and an attachment.
- Comment was not posted on ticket

Expected Results
- Comment should be posted irrespective of the configuration, as Comment is the main action indeed.
Actual Results
- Comment is not posted, if the option "Check to allow other rule actions to trigger this rule. Only enable this if you need this rule to execute in response to another rule." is not checked.
Workaround
- Edited the automation rule and enabled "Check to allow other rule actions to trigger this rule. Only enable this if you need this rule to execute in response to another rule." option.
- Sent another email with text and an attachment.
- Comment processed and posted successfully.

- Hence, this could be considered as a workaround for such issues.
