Description
Issue Summary
Recently, there was a new Automation action introduced to Jira Cloud to Create a Confluence page. This is handy to create new Confluence pages from Jira, or to create multiple pages by referencing a template. However, when a Confluence page is created, the default label added to template does not get added to created page.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a page template in a confluence space and add a default label for this template.
- Manually create a page using this template, the default label is added automatically to newly created page.
- Create an automation rule and use Create a Confluence page action and select the same template in rule configuration.
Expected Results
The confluence page created using the automation rule should have the label as it is defined in page template.
Actual Results
The page gets created successfully but label is missing from the page.
Workaround
Use the Confluence Cloud REST API V1: Add Labels to Content request paired with the Send Webrequest Automation Action to add label to the created page. Please see attached screenshot for more in-depth details.
