.timeZone smart value should return the user's timezone rather than the default user timezone for the Site.

      Problem Definition

When using the .timeZone smart value in automation, such as assignee.timeZone, the Default user timezone for the Site is returned.

      Suggested Solution

Have the user's personal timezone be returned instead.

      Workaround

There is no reasonable workaround at this time, short of using some external source for the user's timezone, like Insight for JSM, or logging timezones in a Jira Issue. In other words, cumbersome workarounds.

[AUTO-280] .timeZone smart value should return the user's timezone rather than the default user timezone for the Site.
