Issue Summary
When setting up a Jira automation flow with the "Send message" Slack action, after successfully completing the OAuth flow, attempting to create a new connection displays a misleading "Fail to load options" error. Despite this error, clicking Save creates the connection successfully and the step can be configured – however the error message causes significant confusion for customers.
Steps to Reproduce
- Navigate to Jira Automation and create a new automation rule.
- Add an action step and select "Send message" for Slack
- Complete the OAuth flow to connect your Slack account (connection succeeds at this point).
- Attempt to create a new Slack connection again within the same flow setup.
- Observe the error message displayed during the connection step.
Expected Results
The connection should load options correctly (or display a meaningful status), and no error message should be shown when the OAuth flow has already been completed successfully.
Actual Results
A "Fail to load options" error is displayed after the OAuth flow completes. This error message is misleading as the connection is actually created successfully when the user clicks Save.
Workaround
Ignore the "Fail to load options" error and click Save. The connection will be created successfully, and the automation step can be configured as expected.
