Due to recent changes in email governance policies, automation rules will not be able to send emails to portal customers who have not accepted their invite or logged into the portal at least once.
However, when emails fail to send due to these governance restrictions, a corresponding entry should be logged in the audit log so that admins can identify why emails were not delivered. Additionally, if admins could receive a notification when a send action fails due to governance policies, it would help them take timely corrective action.
