Confluence
Description
Currently, Atlassian Confluence Cloud does not support automating notifications or actions for blog posts based on their view count or analytics data. While it is possible to automate notifications for pages using view count as a condition (e.g., notify when a page has more than 100 views in the past week), there is no equivalent functionality for blog posts. The "lookup page" action is available for pages, but there is no "lookup blog" action or similar capability for blog posts. Additionally, blog post analytics data is not accessible via automation or Rovo agents.
Suggested features
Customers suggest that Confluence Cloud should provide the ability to automate actions (such as sending notifications) for blog posts based on analytics data, such as view count, in the same way as for pages. This could include adding a "lookup blog" action or making blog post analytics data available for use in automation rules.
Expected outcome
Admins and users will be able to set up automation rules that trigger notifications or other actions when blog posts meet certain analytics criteria (e.g., updated within the last week and viewed more than 100 times). This will help teams stay informed about popular or important blog content, just as they can with pages.
