Summary
Creating an automation with the Transition Work Item action, that also sets the the "Resolution" field, will fail with the following error, If a screen containing the field is not associated with the associated transition:
The fields set during transition aren't available. Fields ignore: Resolution (resolution)
Suggestion
Allow this automation step to set the Resolution field value, without requiring a screen to be associated with this transition
Workaround
- Add a screen that contains the "Resolution" field to the transition which will be performed by the automation
- Use a Edit Work Item action following the transition to set the desired "Resolution" field value
