Severity 3 - Minor
Issue Summary
Automation rules scoped to Business projects only(JWM) and being counted towards JSM usage though Jira exists on the site.
Steps to Reproduce
- Ensure that you have both Jira(Standard plan) and Jira Service Management(Premium plan) subscription on the site.
- Create an Automation rule and scope it to a single Business project.
- Allow the rule to run and verify the usage.
Expected Results
As we’re combining Jira Software with Jira Work Management to create a tool for all teams called Jira as detailed in the Welcome to the next era of Jira announcement, the Business projects rule usage should count towards Jira only.
Actual Results
Before the Jira licensing changes, Jira Work Management was provided by default with Jira Service Management as well and we still have many customers on the old licensing structure, Business project rules will be counted towards highest usage limit out of all products owned.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
