Issue Summary
In For Branch, if "Only include issues that have changed since the last time" is checked and type of related issue is changed w/o unchecking, automation rule will error at branch. User will receive "No related issues that have been updated since the last time this rule executed could be found. To include all issues, un-check the 'Only include issues that have changed since the last time this rule executed' checkbox." error even though type of related issue in for branch has changed away from JQL type
Steps to Reproduce
- Set up a rule that has a for branch
- Set the For branch to JQL and check off "Only include issues that have changed since the last time". Save the rule
- Change the "type of related issue" in the For branch to an item that does not include this checkbox option, making sure to leave this item checked. Save the rule
- Trigger the issue
Expected Results
Rule should run normally through the For branch without an error
Actual Results
Audit log shows ""No related issues that have been updated since the last time this rule executed could be found. To include all issues, un-check the 'Only include issues that have changed since the last time this rule executed' checkbox."" at the For Branch and does not conduct actions
Workaround
Switch the For Branch's "Type of Related Issues" back to JQL, uncheck the box, save the rule, then change the type back to what you had before. The rule will run successfully now
