      All the backslash in front of the underscore will be removed when copying the value from one field to another, and the reason can be as Jira treats backslash as an escape character.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create a rule to copy field value from one field to another.
      2. Keep the field value where backslash is used in front of underscore.

      Expected Results

      Copy the exact value

      Actual Results

      All backslash in front of the underscore are removed.

      Workaround

      Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
