SIEM support for Automation operational logging

      Background

      As customer organisations increase in size there is a growing requirement to centrally monitor automation operations, adding support for external logging solutions would allow centralised monitoring of said operations (via SIEM or another external logging endpoint).

      This should include varying standardised levels: INFO, WARN, ERROR, even DEBUG (as required) which should include the following data:

      • Execution Date/Time
      • The automation rule / component execution status
      • The actor used
      • The initiator of the rule (manual triggers)
      • Failure data down to component
      • Issues involved
      • Performance data (Run time, execution limit)
