    Description

      Issue Summary

Rules with a "Comment deleted" trigger get triggered for the Issue Deletion event but fail without performing any action and an error message

"Actor does not have permission to view one or more issues or the issue was deleted (please check permissions and issue security levels):".

This is because the issue is not available anymore and this happens for any action.

As the rule fails anyway without performing any action, the point of triggering the rule for an issue deletion is obsolete. This adds unnecessary errors to the customer's execution and causes confusion.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create a rule with Issue comment deleted trigger
      2. Add a simple Log action component to print any string.
      3. Delete an issue which has comments

      Expected Results

Either rule does not get triggered or it performs the action that is configured in the rule.

      Actual Results

The rule gets triggered but fails without performing any action with the below error message.

"Actor does not have permission to view one or more issues or the issue was deleted (please check permissions and issue security levels):"

      Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
