JIRA for Slack integration: Ability to customize which fields will be displayed on Slack notifications

      Currently, when using the Slack for JIRA integration, you can set when a notification should be sent to Slack.

      As a user, I would also like to customize which fields will be displayed on Slack notifications.

            Many Atlassian apps would benefit from this feature. In my case, Jira and JPD fields would be awesome to be customizable.

            This would be helpful when an issue is resolved to edit the description of what the resolution is.

            Agreed, seeing the resolution would be very useful. To get that would IMHO not require a wholesale customization of everything, maybe that particular field could just be added? Or give the ability to customize one extra field? Whatever it takes to move this something to be considered.

            As Christian says, it would be great to be able to customise what appeared in the summary.

            The "Basic" version actually provides a better summary for notifications, as it includes the issue number and description; whereas the "Extended" version includes these elsewhere, and so they don't appear in notifications.
