Summary

As per the current design of "Jira Cloud for Outlook" addon, the "ReadWrite Mailbox Apps" permission is mandatory as the addon plans to support shared mailboxes in the future. That said, granting the "ReadWrite Mailbox apps" permission currently enables users to install all apps, including "Jira Cloud for Outlook". This may not be possible in all customer organizations due to strict security policies.

Suggestion

It would be great if admins had an option to allow installation of the Jira Cloud for Outlook addon without the option of granting "ReadWrite Mailbox Apps" permission. If this permission is mandatory for shared mailboxes, it would be great to have an option to opt out of this feature and hence not grant the permission.
