When a user tries to create/view work item in Jira Cloud for Outlook app using the New Outlook they get "Invalid or expired Session" error

      Issue Summary

      When a user tries to log in to Jira Cloud for Outlook app in the New Outlook, they get "Invalid or expired Session" error. This is specific to the users who have never logged into the classic Outlook before and are logging into New Outlook.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. User should not be logged into Classic Outlook prior
      2. Login to New outlook
      3. Open the Jira Cloud for Outlook app and try creating the issue

      Expected Results

      The create issue fields should be seen to create issue and you should be able to create the issue 

      Actual Results

      Users get error:

      Invalid or expired session  
      To resolve this issue, open the WEB  version of Outlook (outlook.com depending on which Outlook account you have) and try to connect your Jira account there. Make sure to enable 3rd-party cookies in your browser if you still see this issue.

      The error persists even in Web version of Outlook and cookies had been enabled for 3rd party services

      Workaround

      Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
