Summary
The Slack integration provides three configuration pages and a Slack panel:
The first configuration page is accessible through the manage apps:
- This page will enable or disable the Slack integration app from Jira side.
The second configuration page is accessible through the project settings page:
- This page will show all the Slack channels integrated with that specific project.
The third configuration page is accessible by inserting the following from the Slack channel side:
/jira manage
- This page will show the list of Jira projects integrated with that Slack channel.
The Slack panel that we can find on the Jira issue view is supposed to show the list of messages added directly from the Slack channel.
That being clarified, in some integrations we noticed that the second configuration page or the Slack panel are not showing up/not accessible.
(We have an internal report tracking this behavior)
Expected Results
See the three configuration pages and the Slack panel once the integration is made correctly.
Actual Results
in some integration we noticed that the second configuration page or the Slack panel are not showing up/ not accessible.
Notes
It was identified that flag isSlackEnabled is not set but toggle still shows that the integration is enabled (in the first configuration page mentioned above).
Workaround
Try to disable then enable Slack integration (in the first configuration page mentioned above)
