A new feature for the Jira for Outlook app to enable users to create Jira issues directly from calendar events. The functionality would map calendar event fields to Jira issue fields as follows:
- Summary: Populated from the calendar event's subject.
- Description: Populated from the calendar event's details.
- Start Date: Mapped to the event's start time.
- Due Date: Mapped to the event's end time.
- Original Estimate: Automatically calculated based on the event's duration.
This feature would streamline the process of logging meetings, deadlines, and other time-bound activities into Jira, reducing manual data entry and ensuring better time tracking.
