      Issue Summary

      The customer has granted EWS API access but the Jira Cloud for Outlook uploads attachments

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Send an email to create a Jira ticket
      2. Attach a file to it

      Expected Results

      The ticket is created within the attachment

      Actual Results

      The ticket is created without an attachment

      Workaround

      The only available workaround is to upload attachments manually

            Do you still experience the original problem? I checked the logs on our side and it seems like there are no errors related to your site.

            This problem disappeared for a few days but it is unfortunately back now.
            Any idea when it is going to be fixed?
            It is very annoying and makes us waste a lot of time...

            We use Jira Cloud for Outlook (Official) in order to manually turn some emails into Jira issues without leaving Outlook.
            We recently noticed a regression that happens to be major for us.
            When we create a Jira issue from an email that contains attachments, or embedded images, we sometimes get a technical error: Something went wrong while uploading email content.
            The issue is created and its description contains the text of the email.
            However, the attachements as well as the embedded images are all missing.
            We are forced to add them manually, which is a big waste of time.
            As documented in the known issues, we have checked that the permission to use EWS (Exchange Web Services) is granted and we confirm it is.
