      Issue Summary

While using the "Open in Sheets" buttons, it asks to authorize into Microsoft or Google and then asks to authorize in Jira and after that, it shows a "State mismatch" error.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Open advanced issue search page
      2. Click the "Open in Sheets" button
      3. Follow authorization prompts
      4. In the end, it will show a "State mismatch" error

      Expected Results

It should allow exporting data to Excel or Sheets and authorization should work

      Actual Results

      State mismatch error

      Workaround

If you get a "State mismatch" error, close the window with the error, close the dialog the verification code, wait 30-40 seconds and then try again.

You can also use a standalone Jira Cloud for Sheets app. Also, you can use a Jira native export.

the workaround worked for me: First I closed all then disabled the popup blocker for the site and installing Jira Cloud Sheet app.

I found the issue, I was missing a step in accessing Jira from excel (my fault). IT works fine now

I ran into this issue and did the below:

            • Followed the workaround mentioned above, that did not work
            • I then close the browser tab as well as close excel altogether
            • I then reopened excel and tried to connect again and still got the error
            • Tried the workaround again and this time it connected

Perhaps this might help someone else. It seems you just need to keep trying until it works.
