Issue Summary
Custom multiline text (paragraph) fields do not show default value for company-managed projects on the "Create issue" screen
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a company-managed project.
- Create a custom multiline (paragraph) field and set a default value for it.
- Add this field to the project.
- Try to create an issue in Jira Cloud for Outlook add-in, the default value for that field is not prepopulated.
Expected Results
Default values for custom multiline text fields should be prepopulated on the Create issue form
Actual Results
No default values for custom multiline text fields
Workaround
Currently, if you do not type any text in such fields in Jira Cloud for Outlook add-in, the default value will still be used in the created issue. If you type anything, the default value will be overridden.
Note, this issue is caused by this bug in Jira REST API https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-74741. Once that issue is resolved, the Jira Cloud for Outlook will automatically start showing default values.
