At the moment, we can't set an ETA for the fix to be released, since there's a number of factors that determine how our product team prioritizes bugfixes.

Issue Summary
The reporter doesn't match to the CRM contact on next-gen projects.
Steps to Reproduce
- Install the app https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1217661/jira-cloud-for-crm-official?hosting=cloud&tab=overview
- Configure the integration with any supported CRM
- Create a next-gen project
- Raise an issue with the CRM contact.
Expected Results
Jira Cloud for CRM works with any type of projects.
Actual Results
You need to manually match a reporter to the CRM contact on next-gen projects.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
Consider adding yourself as a watcher to be kept informed as to the state of this feature request moving forward. With that way, if our development team updates the ticket, you'll be notified via email.
