Problem Definition
When creating issues through integrated tools like slack, symbols and special characters are rendered as emoji.
Steps to reproduce
1. Create an issue from slack
2. Add the character ": p" (without the space) to the description
2. Save the content and create an issue
Expected Result
Symbols are rendered.
Actual Result
Emoji is rendered.
Work Around
Disable the New Jira Issue View.
– This can be done by Clicking on the Profile Icon at the bottom left -> Personal Settings (or Profile). Under the "Labs" section, disable the "New Jira Issue View".
