      Issue Summary

      Question from: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-articles/The-add-in-you-ve-been-waiting-for-Jira-Cloud-for-Excel/ba-p/1210420

Using the JIRA() function to re-import does not clear out old data, causing incorrect reports. Ex) If a data pull retrieves 50 rows, and the next data pull retrieves 40 rows, the report shows 50 rows: The most recent 40, plus the last 10 of the previous pull. Perhaps it could clear rows based on the row bound parameter provided.

            Hi Craig,

This issue has been transitioned to "In progress" 2 years ago and it has an Inactivated user as Assignee and no updates from Atlassian. Based on experience, it's fair to say this has been abandoned and whether they will ever pick this up is hard to say. Especially, because currently there is 1 vote on it, which is an important metric.

I'm part of a team at Midori working on a new Excel exporter app. If solving this issue is business-critical for you and you are open to more professional options (e.g.: a dedicated, native Jira Cloud app instead of a MS Excel add-in), I recommend you discover what the recently released Better Excel Exporter Cloud can do for you and your team! You can also read more here or watch a short tutorial.
