Problem
When commenting from Slack to Jira, it appends to the comment the following "This comment was left via Slack". It sounds unprofessional per the customer point of view, and also gives information about the tools used internally.
Suggested resolution
Ability to remove the "This comment was left via Slack" from comments made via Slack.

Hi, I am using Jira cloud and the “This comment was left via Slack” footer is still there. Could I know how to remove it? Thanks.
Adding up on what Talha and Sam said above, it just makes us not using this great feature that was built into the Jira Slack app...
This issue is still happening for non-service desk projects, why was it only removed for Jira Service Desk?
It's completely useless information that just serves to make the comment longer and harder to read, for no reason. As previously mentioned, it also comes across as unprofessional, even for internal only discussions.
Is there a fix for this yet (outside of Jira service desk projects)? It seems quite unprofessional to have it always sign off with that. There should be a toggle to turn it off.
If this will continue for jira software i suggest you to update the permissions information in the app. There is no "add comments" permission related to it
