Unexpected error in the authentication system when trying to login when Google-Apps is enabled

Final Update:

We have implemented a workaround in our backend systems for this problem. This will allow existing and new Atlassian OnDemand users to log in via Google Apps.

Some new Google Apps users will be created without a first or last name, however. The fix for that problem is tracked in AOD-7281.
