Allow variables to be used in Rename column step

      User Problem

      I would like to use a "Rename" step in Visual SQL to dynamically update my column names based on a dashboard control or relative date variable. Currently, the variable name is not recognized so it will appear as {VARIABLE_NAME}. 

      Suggested Solutions

      Support dashboard variables and relative date variables in the "Rename" step.

      Current Workarounds

      Users can edit their SQL mode query to dynamically rename columns based on variables.
