User Problem

I would like to query data on Jira issue watchers so I can create report on this in Atlassian Analytics. This would be helpful to track things like watchers by issue, watchers by project, etc. 

Suggested Solutions

Add an array column of watcher Atlassian Account IDs to the jira_issue_field and jira_issue_history/jira_issue_history_change_item tables so that this can be reported over time dimensions. This should be supported in both the data lake and data shares. 

Current Workarounds

For data shares, it is possible to query the Jira Cloud Issue Watcher API endpoint, then incorporate them in a transformation layer in your environment with the fields available in the data share.
