We would like to request the addition of specific board metadata to enhance the filtering capabilities in Atlassian Analytics. The current filtering mechanism based on project control includes unrelated sprints, leading to confusion. To address this, we propose the following enhancements:

1. Board Metadata Inclusion:
   • Add fields for Board ID and Board Name.  
   • Establish a join path to the Sprint table’s Original Board ID.

2. Field Format Consistency:
   • Ensure the Original Board ID field contains the ID in long form, similar to the Sprint ID format.  
   • Consider adding an "Original Board Reference" field in either the Board or Sprint table for consistency.  
     - Provide additional context for this field: the long form ID is typically used on the entity’s table (e.g., the long form Sprint ID on the Sprint table). However, the ID recorded in other tables is often the shorter ID that appears after the “:” in the long form ID.

Benefits:
• Improved filtering accuracy by allowing users to filter based on board metadata rather than project control.  
• Enhanced user experience by reducing confusion with unrelated sprints appearing in dropdowns.
