User Problem

I would like to easily query request approval information in the Atlassian Data Lake and Data Shares so I can visualize and do analysis on this information, such as filtering and reporting on issues based on their approval status without having to parse and extract each field from JSON. 

Suggested Solutions

Split the current approvals object in issue custom fields (and jira_issue_field) so that approver(s), approval time, approval status, etc. are queryable separately. 

Current Workarounds

Utilize the method shown in Extract Values from a JSON String article to extract the fields.
