User Problem

Edits are not saved in SQL mode when switching between Visual & SQL tabs, even if the query isn't run. Users should be shown a dialogue/modal when changing from SQL to Visual tabs, ideally only if changes are detected, to let them know that proceeding will clear any changes they've made while in SQL mode and revert the query back to what is in the Visual mode tab. 

 

Suggested Solutions

Show a warning/modal for users who click into Visual mode if edits were made in SQL mode. 

Current Workarounds

If the query in SQL mode was previously ran, you can utilize SQL history to revert back to a specific version.
