User Problem

On the "Data" page in Atlassian Analytics, multiple connections to the same data source (ie. the Atlassian Data Lake) can exist. This can become confusing when users are unable to see when each data source was created in order to choose the most recent and up-to-date data source to query. 

Suggested Solutions

When multiple connections to a data source (ie. the Atlassian Data Lake) exist, we suggest including the date that the connection was created in the "Data source nickname" so that users can easily see which connection is the most recent. 

Current Workarounds

The existing workaround to find out when a data source connection was established is to open up the data source settings, and then scroll down to the bottom of the "Change History" tab in order to discover when the data source was added.
