User Problem

Several chart types have the chart settings option to display the data format of axes as percentages. However, this option is not available for the tooltip when you hover over values in the chart. For example, the following line chart shows percentages on the Y-axis, but when you hover over a data point the value is shown in the tooltip as a decimal value rather than a percentage: 

This applies to the following chart types: 

• Line chart
• Area chart
• Pie chart (No data format option since there are not axes)
• Bar chart
• Scatterplot

Suggested Solution

Add the ability to change the data format of the tooltip to percentage. 

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
