User Problem 

The customer would like to simply provide viewer-only access to an existing “Status Report” dashboard in Analytics for users with the Stakeholder role. They should not have the ability to create their own dashboards.

This is mainly to prevent stakeholder users (who intentionally have no access to data sources) from being able to create dashboards in Analytics and to instead use Analytics simply as a viewer. This will also help keep the full dashboard list (under “Admin view”) manageable with non-empty dashboards.

Suggested Solutions 

It has been advised to set view restrictions or revoke access to the dashboards which is not helping the customer
