Issue Summary
Confluence Search result does not display the first line of the page
This is reproducible : yes
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a page with multiple lines of content
- Search the page using the title
- Observe the body content of the page result
Expected Results
The search result should include the first line of the page in the body section.
Actual Results
The search result wraps the first line and lists the other lines of the page.
Workaround
Currently, there is no known workaround for this behaviour. A workaround will be added here when available
As it is right now, it is not possible to sort search results by any means (See https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-65454 ). Therefore, it is important for us to be able to judge the relevance of a search result by other means. Though being able to sort would be preferred, out workaround was to put a year as the first thing of every page, so that it would show as the first thing in all search results. Now, we can't even do that and needing to open every search result manually to before seeing that year significantly violates our workflow, especially because of the slow load times when navigating around in Confluence.
